Rural Land Use Verifed Views and Photomontages
The requirements for new developments in rural areas are often set against the protection of the surrounding areas. As rural economic and cultural diversification accelerates, so does the requirement for new types of land use which can lead to the new structures. Impact assessments assessing the landscape character of the local area provide frameworks and briefs from which decisions on placement of these types of structures can be determined. Verified Views are a key aspect of the visual assessment, they give a clear indication of what a proposal will look like from key viewpoints and receptors which can often be from far afield due to the open nature of the landscape.
RBMP have worked with developers, consultancies and land owners to determine which views are most important and then present a clear and accurate impression of what the scheme will look like once complete and after mitigation vegetation has had chance to mature. This could be isolated agricultural buildings, processing plants, or residential extensions. ZTV/ZVI analysis is a further helpful tool when determining which views are important and why they have been chosen.
